Our Story

A.S.K. Cleaning and Restoration Services is a professional cleaning company that was founded in 2009 by Andrea Richards as a franchise in a cleaning service then later became a stand alone business in 2015.

Andrea migrated from Jamaica where she had operated her own businesses and felt impelled to create something of her own in the United States. She wanted something that would allow her to provide for herself and her two sons, something in which she could involve them, especially the older of the two. Andrea heard about the cleaning franchises. She then decided to use her personal savings to invest in a franchise.

 After a while operating as a franchisee Andrea realized she was misled by the franchiser. There was no return on her investment and the business was not generating any profit. She began to consider leaving the franchise system. After many years she was able to cancel the contract with the franchiser, but during those years she learned she had the eye and love for cleaning and the ability to operate a company in that area of business. From that the idea of A.S.K. was born and she was able to start her own with the help of former customers from the franchise, who were impressed by the work she had done and wanted to continue using her services.

Along with her two boys, Andrea created the company and named it A.S.K. Cleaning and Restoration Services by incorporating the first initials from Andrea, Steve and Kevin. With the philosophy of “We don’t cut corners, We clean them!” What better way to ASK!!!

The mission of A.S.K Cleaning and Restoration Services is to deliver effective results to our clients using our strong traditions and quality service through the dedicated efforts of our team members. We offer the best in whatever we do, whether vacuuming, cleaning the grout in tiles or flood and mold remediation.

Andrea went above and beyond what would have been expected for this particular job. We had just bought the home so the house was empty and we wanted it cleaned before moving in. My impression after a quick walk thru was it was in ok shape. Andrea checked and cleaned every drawer and cabinet, pulled out fridge cleaned behind, polished all hardwood floors, I could go on but the point is she is incredibly thorough.
